Tip: Training
Obedience classes (dog training) solved my dogs' behavior problems.
Any unacceptable behavior (you and your trainer are the sole judge about potential behavior problem, do not seek too many friends and family advices, they are not pro). Training could be time demanding, be prepared for it, repetitive actions are the essence; being patient is the key. Most important make sure that you close family will not trigger or allow for past forbidden behavior. Yes family needs to be trained as well.

Tip: Flying your dog
Check your airline's dog flying rules, call and discuss the condition with an agent.
48 hours prior your flight, call again the airline and reconfirm.
Be aware that if your dog shows an aggressive behavior the airline might not take on board your dog.
Feed your animal a few hours prior departure (at least 4 to 5)
Your pet carrier must not be made of wires, hard plastic will do fine, be sure to line it with an absorbent material.
Make sure to have the proper dog ID documents
The USDA requires: That your pet must be at least eight weeks old and have a rabies immunization and valid health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian within 30 days of travel.
Special conditions applying to cargo if you are a breeder or a dealer, the health certificate should not be older 10 days.
Do not use any sedation.
If you fly out of USA, find out if the landing country has specifics quarantine rules.
